Watching your baby play is so much fun as they get older. Seeing them interact with stuffed animals, bounce along to a song or giggle at lights is the BEST!
We've made a list of some of our kids' favorite toys when they were 6 - 9 months old (and beyond!) and why we loved them:
Your child can use this from the moment they can sit unsupported (legs come off so you can put the table portion on the floor) to the time they are up and running. There are lots of colorful buttons to push that make music plus sliders and wheels to push and spin. Baby will love to dance along to the music and this table is the perfect height for them to pull up and shake their booty!
This toy provided hours and HOURS of entertainment. My 2 1/2 year old still loves this toy! It is easy to use and your baby will love chasing the balls around when they learn to crawl/walk.
This was my daughter's go to toy as soon as she could sit up unassisted. It has large buttons that are easy to push and a "mouse". There are a few different settings for different learning "activities" but baby's favorite part of this toy are the lights on the screen and the music.
These are so basic but a must have. Baby will learn to balance and stack cups, plus have fun filling them with Cherrios, dog food (ha!) or anything else they can fit.
Another toy that provide hours and HOURS of fun. The door to this "house" opens so baby can crawl through and both sides have activities. Lots of music and lights make this toy so much fun.
This is Scout but my daughter had Violet, the purple girl version. You can program this adorable dog to play the songs you like and it will even say your baby's name! I still get these songs stuck in my head ("Me and my friend, Layla...like to do everything together"). Scout also makes a great bedtime toy because he has a timer that plays soft lullaby music.
This toy teaches baby hand/eye coordination, colors and problem solving skills. It also plays fun music when the blocks are dropped into the box. You can also use these blocks with other Fisher Price Peek-A-Blocks toys.
There you have it! What are/were your favorite toys for your 6-9 month old?
