Hey!  I’m Ashley W.  Also known as Ashb1.   I am a 30-something old SAHM of two sweet babies.  Grayden, three and Addelyn, one.   Prior to being a SAHM I taught special education for 6 years.  I have my graduate degree in leadership and administration...but as soon as I crossed the finish line (ie-got my diploma) I decided I really wanted to stay at home and be the leader of my house! 

In my free time, I like to workout, run, create, and hang out with my family and friends.  I have a hair bow business that keeps me busy most evenings.  I also have always had a passion for writing, so I started our family blog a year and a half ago.   Recently, I wanted to have more opportunities to write and use my humor, and what better person to start a second blog with than my SIL, Ashb2??

Hello friends! I'm Ashley B. Also known as Ashb2 or "the brunette one". I'm a 27 year old Mom of a 3 year old little girl, Layla and a baby boy, Jack. Being a SAHM was the last thing I ever expected to be. I had a fairly stressful workload (on top of a long commute) in Human Resources for 5 years. After my husband got his PhD and first "real" job, we moved to Michigan. Not only did I have to adjust to a new home and being 7 hours away from family, but also to being with my little girl 24/7. I'm convinced there isn't a tougher job!

Since moving I have started a photography business that just keeps growing and growing. I've had the opportunity in the last year to meet some amazing new friends, keep up with old ones, start new adventures and spend some quality time with hubby and kids. This blog is another great adventure that I'm SO happy to be sharing with Ashb1!!

The Story Behind the Two Ashley’s:

Ashb1 is the sister of Ashb2’s husband.  That makes Ashb1 and Ashb2 SIL’s. It is pretty funny that AshB2 now has the same (original) name as AshB1!!   And it gets slightly confusing since we are ALL from the same small town.
